Back in July, before my big surgery, I met up with Madison, her mom and younger sister in downtown Memphis. The clouds were dark, but it was one of those days that we were hoping we’d be in that one spot in Memphis where it didn’t rain that day. If you live here, you know what I mean. It can be pouring down raining with crazy thunder and lightening on one street, but completely dry on the next. When Olivia, my favorite 10 year old assistant, and I arrived at our meeting place, it was not looking good and my husband was texting me to let me know that we were about to get hit. Big time. So, we decided that we’d all wait it out for a bit and see what happened. We ended up waiting an hour, but then had some great light for the downtown part of our shoot. We were supposed to go out to Schilling Farms to finish up, but had to do that 2 days later due to the weather. Up until now, that had been one of the hottest days of the summer! Madison was a trooper and did her best not to melt! She is a beautiful girl and has an attitude to match! I really enjoyed our session! On to the images!
